Our seasoned macaron bakers are classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America specializing in French Pastries. Combining technical skill with experimentation, Mac Lab was born. We emphasize trying out new tastes and ingredient combinations while using classical techniques.

We even work directly with our almond farmers to tweak moisture content to create the perfect (in our opinion) texture. Our promise is to always use simple, delicious, and quality ingredients.

Making the perfect macaron is equal parts creativity and technical skill.

Our macarons are made from egg whites and ultra-fine almond flour, for a (relatively) guilt free dessert. A macaron shell only has four key ingredients, making proper technique crucial. And that's not even considering the environments, moisture content of each ingredient, humidity, and barometric pressure on any specific day.

All macarons are made in a mixed-use environment and may contain traces of gluten flour.

The macarons have had a long trip, please allow them to rest in the fridge for at least 15-20 minutes before consumption. Allow macarons to reach room temperature before consuming for optimal flavors. 

Our macarons can store in the fridge with no change in taste or texture for up to a week, perfect for those planning an event in advance!

We recommend consuming the macarons within 3-4 days for optimal texture. However, if you are planning to store the macarons for an extended period, place in the freezer.

Yes! All our macarons are gluten-free except the oreo flavor.

Please note, our macarons are made in a mixed-use kitchen environment.

3 ways to get Mac Lab macarons:

Nationwide Shipping - Order online and have your order shipped directly to your door steps. Your order will be shipped anywhere USPS delivers in the continental United States. Please see our shipping details for more details.

Local Delivery - If your order qualifies for wholesale, we provide complimentary delivery to the local Atlanta area. Scheduling is required and subject to delivery fees.

Pick-Up - If you are in the greater Atlanta area, you can select to have your order ready for pick-up during our business hours at Mac Lab Bakery. Online orders selected for local pick-up will be available next business day unless you specify otherwise (in the notes section during the checkout process). *Please note "Local Pick-Up" option is only available for GA mailing addresses.

Due to the nature of individual clients customizations, we ask you get in touch with our team as soon as possible. You can reach out to us here.

Depending on design & requirements, additional time may be required for communication, recipe testing, sourcing ingredients, etc. 

All custom orders must be finalized and paid in full at least one week prior to ship-out or pick-up date.

Custom orders finalized less than a one week turnaround time may be subject to a rush fee.

Most customizations include color change, flavor change, or a simple design. We try to accommodate any and all requests to really add a personal touch to your custom macarons!

For custom color/flavor and custom piping designs, there is a 50 piece minimum order. There are no minimum order quantities for custom hand-painting on our existing macaron color/flavors.

shipping & returns

Mac Lab ships macarons throughout the United States using USPS & UPS as our third party shipping carrier.

Orders are only shipped nationwide Monday through Thursday to avoid weekend overlays.

We do not ship on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST will be shipped the following shipping day (Monday - Thursday).

Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST on Thursday will ship on the following Monday excluding holidays.

Please allow up to 2 business days for us to process your order before your order is sent out.

Shipments can only be delivered to a street address within the United States. 

We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. 

Mac Lab Bakery is not responsible for delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling. 

Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered. 

Shipping courier may require a signature for delivery at the discretion of the driver. Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect shipping and arrival dates.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and your location. Please allow up to 2-3 business days for us to process your order. Please note we can not guarantee delivery dates due to shipping delays that may occur which are out of our control. 

We only ship Mondays - Thursdays to avoid any unnecessary overlays at the postal service.

Once your order ships out, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information.

Due to the perishable nature of our food products, Mac Lab Bakery does not accept returns due to consumption limitations. Mac Lab Bakery will issue a credit or a refund on a case-to-case basis.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact our Customer Service Team at info@maclabbakery.comas soon as possible of when the package was received, and we will make every effort to make sure you are happy with your Mac Lab experience!

Our macarons are always hand packed straight from our kitchen to ensure the quality of our product. However, because of the fragile nature of macarons, some breakage of the macaron shell may occur during transport.

We try to take extra care in handling & packaging orders all the way up until we hand it off to the postal service, but we do understand some breakage may occur. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, let us know right away. We will make every attempt to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase from us!
